Our Programs teach fundamental movement and gross motor skills. Including:
⭐️ Jungle Gym (0-4 years open play with parent participation), ⭐️ Mini Movers (18 months to 4 year structured program with parent participation)

⭐️ Our Aerials and Tumbling class offered on a term or casual basis brings our gym to life with advanced floor skills and aerial silks. ⭐️ Acro Flight for dancers looks to correct technique for dance students looking to improve and perform display skills for years to come. ⭐️ Strength and Injury Prevention builds general mobility, fundamental strength and flexibility critical for anyone looking to perform those skills which are demanding of the body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We were blessed to receive this message from one of our gym families today in response to our #giftofgymnastics post ❤️ It is beautiful, inspiring and made Miss Kylie cry 💫 ———————————————— My daughter is a little dancer. She always loved dancing and is always dancing wherever and whenever she wants to, even long before her first ballet class when she was 3.5 years old

In her last two primary schools (that were very big on sports), she was teased and called names because she was not good at sport. She was not a fast runner, she couldn’t hit with a bat properly, and no one wanted her in their group when they did group sports at school. Sports day was just a nightmare for her. She believed that she was weak and couldn’t do anything good enough.

Until one day, we watched gymnastics on TV for one of the Olympics games. She told me, “I want to do gymnastics. Look at her, Mum, she looks very graceful like ballerina but also looks very strong and powerful at the same time”. That’s how her gymnastics journey began.

As the time passed, we can see that not only she is getting better in her coordination, has built her muscle and strength, but her confidence is also getting better and stronger. One thing that she learnt after joining North West Gymnastics is “THE POWER OF YET”!!!! Those words are just a very powerful fuel for her mind.
She is still not the fastest, not the strongest, not the best but she believes in herself, that she means something and can be someone. ————————- What Gift has it brought you? Tell us your story ✨

The gift of gymnastics has taught me many life lessons. From time management, commitment, dedication, to relationships with teammates and coaches. But one of the biggest things gymnastics has given me is courage. I’ve learnt how to go after things I am afraid of, and I’ve learnt how to pick myself up when things don’t go to plan (which has happened many times in competition). Hi! I have no doubt Jake's ninja training came into play today as we found a very high playground in Airlie Beach.
He didn't hesitate and scrambled his way to the top, running rings around big sister. He said "this is just like a ninja course mum" as he hung from ropes and had us covering our eyes and holding our breath.
