⭐️⭐️ We are off to Townsville for competition and our Gymnastics Queensland Regional Forum (where we set the dates for competitions and training for 2020) from Friday the 8th to Tuesday the 12th of November. Competition
What an Amazing couple of days. To see our Superstars in Competition across all levels, both Girls and Boys.
Overall 30 North West Gymnastics Athletes competed.
For some of our Girls it was their first competition and these kids did sooo well. Amazing behaviour and Focus!!
Our massive group of Level 3’s made us proud. Some of these kids new to the level with only 5 weeks to prepare.
In Level 4 we saw some amazing performances with Niah smashing the Qualification Score for State Championships.
In Level 5 we had 2 new competitors Indy and Jas who delivered on the day. Some small hiccups on a wobbly beam but they soldiered on delivering their best across Bars, Floor and Vault. Mads took out 1st place for the Level 5 Open Competition.
In Level 6 Abi took 1st place with an ever improving floor routine.
On the Sunday our Boys tried their hand at new Levels.
In Level 2 with Darcy and Eli delivering some amazing work both achieving a place on the apparatus.
In Level 3 Jaxon pulled off some firsts on Bars and Personal Bests all around taking out 1st Place.
Boys Foundations
Our Ninja programs are both a great pathway into Gymnastics and a heap of fun!! Open to Boys and Girls from 4.5-9 years with separate class options.
We know the energy these kids need to burn off and what it can take to keep them engaged so we’ve packed our classes with loads of fun including:
Not only will these kids get to experience Gymnastics including Rings, Pommel, Floor, Bars, Vault, Beam and Parallel Bars but they will get to do the activities they love in fun, safe and progressive learning environment.
Our gym is packed with features from an Olympic trampoline, to air floors, to Rock Climbing and everything in between. Why not check us out today.
Classes Run:
Classes cost approximately $22.40 per class on an ongoing basis. Class attendance can be cancelled at any time with 2 weeks prior notice.
Annual Club Registration applies at a cost of $95 per rolling 12 month period.

Acro
North West Gymnastics are excited to announce some fun and exciting recreational classes designed for the quality development of Acro and Tumbling skills for advanced dance and gymnastics students.
Did you know that we are trained and accredited in Acro Gymnastics, Acro Dance, Tumbling and Trampoline in addition to our Advanced+ Women’s and Men’s Gymnastics Accreditations?
We love our sport and the teaching of safe technique in a fun and safe environment. We have endless options, equipment and resources to ensure that skills are taught progressively in a safe way with a focus on technique and the appropriate physical preparation.

About Us
New members are welcome to join at anytime.
If you know what class you want to enrol in but the class is full you can still indicate your desire to join that class by completing a waitlist enrolment. There are no charges applicable for this. When you waitlist for a full class this helps the Club determine demand for class types and allows planning for additional classes. It also means that we can contact you directly when a place becomes available throughout our terms.
On any enrolment you can add additional comments e.g. waitlist for a class type but indicate any other days that would also suit even if they aren’t currently scheduled in our timetable.
All class enrolments are of an ongoing basis until you elect to change classes or drop with 2 weeks notice through our Parent Portal.

Trial classes can be arranged at the normal one off class cost where there is space in a class. Please contact us via email for details once your account and student are set up in the Portal. Make sure you tell us the students name, class type and date and we’ll do our best to accommodate these requests.
Expressions of Interest are open for 2024 Classes via “Bookings” and “Find a Class” on our parent portal.
Please check your Parent Portal to confirm your class times and dates. Our Parent Portal is a one stop shop for you to manage your students, enrolments, holiday classes, billing, invoices, absences, makeup classes, merchandise, apparel and more! Class pricing on our Portal reflects the monthly class tuition fees. Annual membership is applicable for each participant. You can find our Timetable and Calendar here. Our recreational classes are designed for those who are only looking for 1 class a week or possibly even casual attendance options. A great way to develop skills and keep fit in a fun and safe environment.

Ninja Foundations: For kids from 4-8 years (2 separate class options) with Energy to Burn. Incorporates Trampoline, Ninja, Air Floor, Bars, Ring, and much much more!!
Acro Foundations and Gym Skills: Ideal for gymnasts or dance students to improve their floor manoeuvres and dance specific tumbling skills. Complimentary for levels gymnastics. Incorporates other Gymnastics Apparatus including Beam and Bars.
Intermediate Acro, Tumbling and Aerials: Ideal for gymnasts or dance students to improve their floor manoeuvres and dance specific tumbling skills. Complimentary for levels gymnastics.
Aerials and Tumbling

Most Popular Programs
With the success of our Strength and Flexibility Classes we are excited to offer an additional class option on a Tuesday afternoon from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
This class can be taken on a term or casual basis.
Focussed on building the strength and flexibility required for the execution of core gymnastics and dance skills. Targeted work in posture, joint stability, core, upper and lower body strength.

Gymnastics teaches kids how to move with confidence and competence – better than any other sport! That’s why it’s not only a great sport on its own, it’s also the ideal springboard to all other sports – a fact that’s recognized by The International Olympic Committee.
Gymnastics teaches the fundamental movement and sports skills that are at the core of every other sport. Fundamental movement skills include skills like climbing, swinging, balancing and landing. It develops the ABCs of athleticism: agility, balance, coordination and speed. In fact, gymnastics is so good at developing these skills that Canadian Sport for Life recommends gymnastics programs as a way to help children learn these skills!
The importance of having fundamental physical skills cannot be overstated. When kids learn these skills, they are developing physical literacy. Experts agree that physical literacy is just as important to a child’s development as learning how to read and write. Read more “Why Gymnastics?”
